My Last Day's in Kentucky

Thursday night I took the family out to O'Charley's. The least I could do to say Thank You for a wonderful week. Everyone enjoyed their meal and then we surprised Allison for her Birthday. When the waiter brought her a fluffy dessert and said Happy Birthday, her eye's got so big ( she wondered how he knew),then she smiled her biggest smile and hid her face. Yes that's Matt (hand) getting a bite of Tyson's dessert. Not just one either....

My other grandkids.....Love them. I'm so blessed to be given a change to be a part of their lives. I really believe that was God's plan when we meet on the Prayers for Camp Anaconda web site.

Then Friday came. I would be leaving that night. I was in the bedroom getting my things packed up and resting up for the train ride home......Then it HAPPENED... Stuffed animals came flying from every direction,( believe me 3 kids have a lot of stuffed animals) blocking the door way,the bedroom,me and luggage. All three kids were in on it.....it was like they thought they could keep me from going if they did this...It was so FUNNY.Then they all came in and set on the bed with me. We talked and laughed. It was great. Then after dinner it was time for me to go. Courtney took me to the catch the train. It was kind of a quite ride. I know I raddled on about things...but I felt like bawling. I'm going to miss them so much. I'm so blessed, I have a wonderful family here in Missouri and another one in Kentucky. God is good.
This all started when Courtney told Matt all she wanted for Mother's Day was to meet me. Just goes to show you should be careful what you wish for. ;)

Watch out for flying animals

Back on the Train.

No we didn't get to do everything we planned, do to rain.....That just means we'll have to try again.RIGHT.

Love to all from:

Happy Glo ;)

Glo,

It looks like you had a wonderful time with your family. That's great. And yes, if you didn't get to do all you had planned, you will have to return soon.

Thanks so much for your prayers for my Aunt May. I do appreciate your thoughtfulness and support.

Blessings,
Mary
