SORRRRRRRRRRRRRY

So Sorry. I haven't been on for a while because the blog wouldn't let me post anything. Here i 'm in the final day of waiting and it would let me post a darn thing. I been cleaning and doing laundry, but mostly waiting for that most important phone call. All I can tell you is soon, very soon the love of my life will be home. And believe me you will be the first to know when it happens. Love all you guys. Your friendship has been God sent this year. I'm NOT stopping this blog when Mike comes home. I'll will depend on Courtney and Charla change and up date it for me.......ha ha hee hee.( I still want to be YOUNG AT HEART)You know they started it in the first place. Come on girls be on my side in this. I'm old and need all the help I can get. I couldn't stand not know what was going on with you girls.
Had to go to the Doctor yesterday got the YUK and I don't want to have the YUK when I get that all important phone call. Also I have something on my left heel and they are going to remove that tomorrow evening. Don't think it anything to worry about, but always like to be on the safe side.
We have also been getting a lot of rain. Had Flash flooding in some areas Sunday. Of course my flowers are doing a happy dance and so is my daughter cause she doesn't have to help me water.....
To help keep me busy my daughter has decided I need to make Cinnamon Rolls tomorrow w/ cream cheese icing. She wants to take them to work. I thought all the girls at work were on diets. She said they would just run an extra mile the next day. I made them for them before at Christmas. I like to cook and they like to eat. It keeps me out of trouble. Then I have to make potato salad to take to Anita's Saturday. Yes, another "Army wife's"get together. Only this time kids are coming too. Speaking of cooking, I think I told Court I send her 3 mons. a go I send her this recipe. So might as well share it with all of you.

"Mexican Chicken"

This you can fix a head it freezes well. Then thaw and bake.(nice to have in freezer when our hubby's come home)

1 green pepper (chopped)

1 lg. onion ( chopped)

12 small flour tortilla

1# mild cheddar cheese (grated)

1 can Rotel tomatoes (reg. or hot )

Place 6 tortillas in bottom of greased 9x13 pan.
Layer 1/2 of the green peppers, onion, chicken, soups and cheese then repete layers starting with tortillas. Pour Rotel tomatoes over top.

bake at 350 for 45 mins.

Fix a salad and some garlic bread and you have a great meal. ENJOY!!!

I sometimes keep cooked chicken in the freezer, then your always ready for unexpected company.

Well I guess I better get off here and get supper ready.
