I DID IT......Yea

I'm so proud of Me.....I drove in traffic today. Ok your saying what's so great about that.....Well it's the first time since I had my right knee replaced April 17th. I was so afraid that I would have to brake fast and I wouldn't be able to. My cousin was having some laser surgery done on her eye and didn't have any one to drive. I did just fine,so that fear is behind me. Thank God (I know he rode all the way with me.)

Met a new blogger over the weekend, her name is Carolyn or talktograms. Found out we're only a few miles from each other. Also found out we went to the same School, just different years. Go by her site if you get a chance. Nice lady. Also Congrats go out to her. She passed her drivers test. YEA!! (Ok after that was said, everyone ck the date on you drivers lic. I just did. I'm safe till 2013.) Made you look didn't it.

Mike and I have been going for drives in the evening, looking for deer. Getting that time you know. They are thick this year. Spotted 12 just last night. Saw a doe and her twin fawns. They still had a few white spots on then. They were just a bout a hundred yards off the road. Have you ever just stopped and thought how many awesome, beautiful things God has created. Drives in the country let you see many of these awesome things. Try it, it can really take your mind off any problems you have.

I need some prayers for my friend Judy (she is a classmate of mine). She has been battling Cancer. She's doing fine. Got a good report from the Dr.,but now she is faced with all the bills coming in.Last night when I talked with her,she was really down. I told her she has so much to be "Thankful' for and to just put it God's hands, but being single, she's having a hard time doing that. So if all can please pray for her It would be appreciated.

Well I'd better get off for now.........Time to take that ride. everyone have a great week.

Love and God bless,

Glo

Hi, I am so glad you were able to drive in traffic again! This is a big deal!! Praise God!!

The deer are out!! When we go down to Bill's we have to watch out like crazy for them jumping out in front of our car/truck!! He lives 30 minutes from Warrensburg.
But we still have deer up here. too!!

A few Sunday's ago we went to Mount Washington Cemtery in KC and back in there, up on a hill sat a fawn!! It looked like a statue! But no kidding it was a real deer!
Love and Hugs, Carolyn

Glo, I'm so proud of you! That is wonderful that you were able to drive and did just fine with the traffic. God watches out for us, thankfully :)

I will be praying for your friend. God will provide a way for her, even if it does seem overwhelming most of the time. God bless!

Thanks, Glo. You said very sweet thigs about me. It's good to hear your knee is good enough to drive. My mom still has problems driving with her bad knee. So, I'm her chauffer and errand runner. I'm so happy she passed her drivers licence renewal test, too. If there was an emergancy she could drive, legally. I've heard you know Coach Pirch! That's really cool! He was my high school history teacher.
