Africa

These are just some of the pictures of the village and school that my cousin and his wife went to in Africa (Nampaolo) this is taken from the letter she sent:
551 kids. 30% had AIDS. 6 classrooms. You see a picture of the cook and kitchen. For lunch the kids got a juice box and 2 handsfuls of the stuff in the pots (like rice). Much lice and a few cases of rickets. Oh, worms also but "that's Africa baby."
All kids now go to school as mandated by the government who provides them uniforms and a daily lunch.
Please excuse my appearance, but for 2 wks I had no hair tools and bathed in tub of rusty water. You can see the rusty color of my hair.I didn't put her pic,but believe me it looked rusty I boiled the water for my tea and coffee in the room.
By the way, these were the happiest people I have ever met. Not one word of complaint.
So when we lay down tonight, leaves us with nothing to do but give thanks.
Kelley
