Please pray for my sister Linda. She got up on a chair and then tried to stand on a her pedestal dinning table to clean a light. The table flipped with her,she couldn't get up on her knee,so she rolled over to the phone and called us and we had to take her to the hospital.....This was Saturday. They took ex rays said she had a knee sprain,put a brace on, gave her pain pills & sent her home. Her knee was moving from side to side, not good. So my niece called and got her in to see our Doctor. He sent her for an MRI & had a specialist look at it..Well she has torn ligaments,cartilage and a hair line fracture of her knee cap. She now is in a hard brace now..from her hip to her ankle. She is walking with a walker. In two weeks they will be able to tell if she is going to have surgery or not. She always telling me not to do things because I'm older.......I just turned 65 and she will be 60 7/25. She can't work right now. She does the lab work at the Nursing home. She's single and lives in Apt. just around the corner from us. She's very hard headed.....worse than me. So please pray for her and may God give her patience.
Also we needed to pray for all those who will be traveling this week end or just staying home. May they have a Safe and Happy 4th.

Your sister is in my prayers!
Oh, my goodness, Glo. I am sorry to read about your sisters fall. We always think something like that happens to other people. I know I never thought I would fall and break my hip, but I did, in December of 2005. Thank the Lord I recovered well, but it was tough going for a while. Linda will be in my prayers, Glo.

Thanks for visiting me! I was just catching up on some of your posts here. I'm so sorry to hear of your sister's fall. Hope she is able to manage with that cast. I know first hand how awkward they can be.
